I like my camera (Please read my previous post), but it does not have the thread to put a filter. We all know neutral density filter and circular polarizer are the essential accessories for the landscape pictures. I have been using my left hand holding the filter in front the camera's lens and taking pictures with my right hand. It make picture taking a little "funny" and it also created reflections between the lens and the filter.
I read an article talking about the MagFilter adapter ring for Canon G15/16 by a photographer in his B and H seminar and I got very excited. I found out the dimension of my camera is the same as Canon's camera. I, therefore, bought it and hope it can work. I am so happy it worked exactly as it advertised.
First, you tape a metal ring to the camera and then put the adapter ring on top of it. You now can screw the filter to the adapter ring (See pictures below).
